Minimum Age: 22 at time of hire or lease
Motor Vehicle Record
No DUI/Alcohol related conviction within last 10 years (reviewed on case by case basis)
No drug related convictions
No serious traffic violations within the past 3 years
No CDL/License suspension within past 3 years (suspension for financial reasons can be reviewed)
Accidents
No major chargeable accident within past 3 years
No more than 3 chargeable minor accidents/incidents within past 3 years
Experience
1 year tractor/trailer experience in the last 5 years
Verifiable Military driving experience will be considered if driver also has 6 months commercial tractor/trailer experience
CDL
Must have a valid Class “A” CDL from declared state of residence prior to entering orientation
We pay company drivers on a mileage basis calculated on PC Miler.

Yes. You must have parking for a tractor and trailer in a safe secure location.
We primarily run late model Volvo’s and International’s.
Our equipment is governed at 66 mph.

Medical & Dental benefits are effective at 60 days of employment. Vision and other voluntary benefits are effective 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. 401K is available immediately.
Yes. The passenger must be at least 12 years of age. Cost is $10.00 per month.
Yes, we allow 1 dog less than 30lbs in Company equipment. Additional fees apply.
NYC freight comprises less than 1% of Koch Trucking freight. No Canada freight for our van fleet drivers.
Yes. Company drivers are paid $15.50 per hour if they are delayed at a customer longer than 2 hours from the appointment time.
At Koch, we will provide you with an iPad with Transflo Mobile downloaded to assist with submitting paperwork.
We provide all company drivers with a PrePass transponder for all authorized toll expenses.
A Hazmat endorsement is preferred, but not required. Koch Trucking will reimburse you to obtain your Hazmat endorsement.
Koch Trucking’s average length of haul is approximately 500 miles.
