The Driver of the Month Award honors an individual that dedicated their time and efforts in Customer Service as well as all around service to Koch Trucking.
Our drivers are the reason we’re the transportation company customers can count on and our annual driver banquet is held to recognize the drivers that go above and beyond in regard to performance and safety. This annual event is an opportunity for owners and leadership team members to personally thank drivers for their contributions to Koch.
Driver Appreciation Week and Technician Appreciation Week are important annual events in the transportation industry. While Koch appreciates the efforts of our drivers and technicians all year long, these weeks are opportunities to elevate our appreciation for these hard working men and women. We celebrate these weeks by offering gifts, giveaways, food, and handshakes all over the United States.
New drivers are paired with an experienced Koch driver who is available to help with any questions or concerns they have when starting their Koch career. We also pair new female drivers with a female mentor because of their unique experiences and insights into working in a male-populated industry. Our dispatch and safety teams are always available for support, but we also recognize that sometimes another driver can be the best resource. This mentor program is just another layer of support we offer new drivers.
The Next Generation in Trucking Association is a non-profit trade association who is engaging and training the next generation of trucking industry professionals by partnering with high schools, community/technical colleges and private schools to launch training programs around the U.S. Koch recognizes the importance of promoting trucking and technician opportunities to the younger generation and are happy to partner with them in their efforts.
Koch is a proud supporter of the Women in Trucking association and was named a "Top Company for Women to work for in Transportation" by the association in 2023. Koch recognizes the value and contributions of women and continues a focused effort to increase gender diversity among drivers, mechanics, and office staff.
Our fleet is comprised of late model Volvo, International, Kenworth, and Freightliner tractors with the latest load-tracking technology. All tractors are three years old or newer. Our fleet of late model tractors ensures minimal maintenance downtime resulting in on-time delivery and a seamless experience for our customers. Our commitment to new equipment helps ensure our drivers are respected and customers satisfied.
